Reefreef
Hi Guys, Intend to switch to FOWLR and am planning to custom/buy . Am seeking opinions for fellow seniors whether above an ideal size of FOWLR. Currently using JBJ28G and upgrading to a bigger size. Pre-condition from wifey to have IOS as we have had bad experience with a sump... Intend to keep some angels, maybe 6 of those . 4 angels and 2 dwarfs . What do you think? Thanks for reading and appreciate your inputs.
Anchorman
Hi bro, your planned angels fish will eventually out grow a 3 footer tank very soon. Bear in mind u need to LR to shape up the tank too. IMHO, a 4 footer tank will be good for long run. Happy fishkeeping. Cheers. SRC Member digibee Posted March 12, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted March 12, 2012 Yo, Since you do not want to have sump; then it is better to go straight into 5 ft or more if you can afford; space and dollars wise. then about 1 ft or less can be used for filtration etc; internally. Then you have more choice of fish and the number of fish .... Cheers! Quote () Happy will do ... (o_o)
Reefreef
Hi Guys, Thank you for your feedback. No doubt agree to a certain extend, having a 3ft neither here nor there. Did some buying over a period like skimmer and wavemaker but looks like have to sell all this. *faint*

Reefreef
you might want to have the pipes replaced with better quality ones Hi Bro, Thanks for your advice. What do you recommend bro? I'm scheduling it to get it delivered this coming Wed and need to review the sump area. Now need to look out for reliable skimmer , lighting and like what you said, revisit the piping
