Wow so scary !!! sometimes frag zoa also will f eel my hand numb.. Last week when i remove a mushroom from a piece of rock,the juice from the mushy spit into my eye and immediately my eye was blood red and can felt the sensation burning inside my eye lucky it start to getting better after a few hours. so scary man...

My zoas decided to thank me for brushing algae off their stalks by squirting juice right into my mouth. I immediately rinsed my mouth thoroughly. In general, lets not take things for granted and appply some safety precautions in dealing with corals.

Palythoa toxin from Palythoa and Zoanthus polyps is widely known to be one of the most poisonous substances in the natural world, gram for gram. Armed with this knowledge a well-informed aquarist suited up for Palythoa removal duty from one of his aquarium rocks with gloves to protect his hands, safety glasses to protect his eyes but he made one crucial mistake that almost cost him his life
