Hi comrades

Yesterday had saw the hugh tank at Wisma, it was located on 2nd floor right outside a bar/restaurant, from MRT, take the first escalator up and you will see. It was curved in shape and possibly 10 metres long by a metre wide, it was FOWLR. By a quick look, it had only damsels, possibly naso tangs and few small sharks only......The only wish is to have more LS...... :(

You mean the one located in the basement(behind the lifts) or its a different tank? I have seen one in the basement and 2 small tanks near the food village. The basement tank is huge and have variety of tangs and one small shark.

even if they haf a reef tank.i doubt it will be there for long.their main aim is to make the palce nice and attact customers.. they wouldnt spend $ on getting people to maintance the tank,as it will be far to expensive to maintance such a big tank.

Well, it is not the old tank in the basement, the new one is located in second floor right outside the ###### restaurant.

It definitely cost a big bomb to maintain this tank as it is hugh, but anyway the building management charge premium maintenance fee from the tennent, so what the harm?

The wife/girlfriend got her shopping spree while I get some entertain from the tank, it is a win-win situation  More Wisma shopping tour I guess......

Was there just now...the premises house a combination of five F & B outlets. :yeah:

Saw five juvenile sharks and losts of naso and powder blue tangs...Damsels aka blue devils...alot :blink::blink: . Yup...the bubbles really an eyesore though... :(

And they used synthetic corals as they can't afford to maintain the real stuff...

well, as for the bubbles....is it their idea of a beckett skimmer??

full tank beckett.....

juz to add on a little :off: there is a small LFS at admiralty mrt that has recently converted a few tanks into marine (used to be mainly freshwater)....the owner uses those kind of air bubble skimmer....one fine day, i went there to take a look....almost laugh my head off, instead of using wooden air heads(i dunno wat u call it), he use the plastic kind.....my god...the bubbles are as large as if i blew air into the skimmer with a straw.....hahhahhahaha
