Review of Red Sea Coral Pro salt

So many complains about this salt on RC. Reefers from Australia to Taiwan are having problems with cloudiness...

Any of you experience this?

I only do frequent small water (5L) changes and even then I still get cloudy water sometimes.

i just mix 120 litres with this salt yesterday for my water change, didn't notice any cloudiness ? i think maybe is batch problem in some country.

I do not have any problems regarding cloudiness for using Coral Pro. My usual routine is to drop a strong power head into the pail of ready mixed salt water for approximately 24hrs. The next day, it's crystal clear.

Maybe too much salt was added? I had this issue when i added a cup too much with an outcome of salinity level at 1.030.

after adjusting the mix water is clearer

Yup, should be fully dissolved & crystal clear within a short while. I personally prefer to leave it with power head circulating for approx. 24hrs

Cloudiness = Too Much Salt.....

And

Dont follow the dosing measurement stated at the bucket.. not accurate

i followed the instructions n my salinity boosted up to 1.028 - 1.030... Measure with ATC Refrac....

So i use slightly below from the instructions, and add some more later if not enough..

Not sure, but they now give extra 5% for all Red Sea product. Easy parking at that place.

my personal experience, I went there twice, both times there were no parking lots in the compound & I had to park illegally along the road beside the store.

Both times there were 4 to 5 customers in the store (business is good). I waited about 15 to 20 mins at the cashier before I gave up and left...

just my personal experience. I went there on Saturdays, so maybe better to go on weekdays.
