Purple seafan polyps not opening

My purple seafan has been with me for almost one week already but the purple polyps are not opening. Why?

My yellow seafan are doing well though, with all the polyps fully extended.

Any clues?

hmm...bring over...put in my tank...keep for you for a year...

kidding, fans enjoy strong currents, have you put it in the direction flow of the current in your tank??? That helps....recently sold a few fans and fellow bros who bought them tried my method, sea fan polyp opened up nicely

yeah..they like strong currents...they sway very heavily they seem to like it also...hehe...

mine opened up just like tat in that high flow area

and once you get them to open you blast them with cyclopeeze...they will be encouraged to open up more easily next time..hehe

Agree ....I've got Orange and Purple SEA-FAN...with strong currents blowing at them, they open up very nicely lah...ke..ke...
