this is a fish with a 1% rate of success in home aquarium.

why? because it is an obligate coralivore which means it has a strict diet of only SPS and nothing else.

Chaetodon ornatissimus is one of many species that are not suitable for aquarium life. unless you can provide it with a strict diet of SPS, and not just any species of SPS for that matter, you are most likely going to fail in the keeping of this fish.

and fyi, it is commonly sold in shops. which is undeniably unfortunate.
