hi guys,how do i control the phoshate low as im having problem and also my kh is alway too low?

my is a sps tank and its quite hard to monitor the my kh as its not constant

....would anyone can advise me

For low Kh, you may need to check Mg and Ca as it could be imbalance of either one of them or both.

For the PO4 you can use absorber media like rowaphor run in FR. But need to slowly bring down else can couse problem on the SPS.

Hi there,i've try to tested my meg is 1320,and ca is 480.

they right at start ,but just the kh its alway low .....

hmm....any others need to monitor ?

How did you dose KH? My previous tank I have to use dosing pump to continue dosing. As I cannot keep it up with manual dose.

Hi bro, i dose it manually as i've calculated for the forum as only 1 tea spoon per 80L.

What do your advise ..bro?

I do not know what brand of additive you are use. It should tell you like 1 tea spoon per 80 l will raise ?? Unit. Only I can guess now is amount of dosing is not enough. You might need to add more. Basically you need to know how much your tank consume per day. Then add on require amout to maintain stable level of the element.

Maybe you want to consider running a CR or Kalk reactor to maintain the Kh, Ca and mg for your tank. I used to use only dosing, but it is not enough to maintain the parameter like you mention .

Well i've too much to learn...hehe!

I used baking soda. It's cheaper. You can try google for bailing lite method. It quite easy to follow.

Your MG is a bit on the low side.

Watch out your KH.

Do not let it move by more then 1 in a single day.

So continous dosing daily is better then dose all at one time.

Use a dosing unit or kalk reactor to achieve constant reading

Hi guys,i think is better to get a kalk reactor as they provide ca,kh,stable of the ph too!

Even went i dose the kh power daily is still low,but i'll consider dosing pump too !!

They need food as well.. If you able to provide clean water for sps.. is ok to feed them.

It should do the job. You can purchase additive in raw form. Mixed with RO/DI water. You can mixed 1 kg of additive with 5 -10 liter depend on formular you use.

I few it much more affordable to use this method.

Ok, cos I thought the liquid is quite ex. Maybe I try the powder one in future. How's the 2- part solution, heard its quite effective, ca & KH.

CR can help in CA and Mg. KH u will need Kalkwasser which is usually in the foam of reactor and water Top up. Trace element, strontium, etc, manual or balling method is necessary. If u need CR, I have an almost full set less ph controller bUt if u timer , then it will be good in runn

Hi bro,recently i change my salt to Tropic marine and end up my coral was started to bleaching and went i check my meg and ca...its all suddenly become too low and

this was quite surpise that i dont have any problem before using instant ocean ?

anyone has this overcome this problem?
