Seahorse

Hi,

To my understanding, it is very difficult to keep seahorses in the tank because of feeding. Recently, a friend has given us a seahorse to be added in our tank. Today is already Day 3 and he is still active, swimming up & down but not yet eating. What is the best advise?

Live Brine shrimp, you might like to take it out and leave it in a box full of shrimps.. have fun watching!!!

I think u post at the wrong forum. try posting it at seahorse forum.

Brine shrimp are not nutritious enough for the seahorse. Next, it is quite dirty & u may introduce disease or parsite to the seahorses.

Try getting small freshwater feeder shrimps & gut load them with cyclopeeze.

Yr seahorse will go crazy chasing it.
