the sump looks good just that the skimmer maybe a little too small for your tank? if you're looking for cleaner water could try giving your skimmer an upgrade

Reefing is sharing. People with rotten mouth is sure a loser for life as expected. When a tomato gets rotten, you can nvr save it.. Throw it away before it infect the good ones.

Think u will need to hang it? Looks like coral will be cooked. Hahaha.

I hope not but my corals r quite seasoned to high powered lighting.

Lights kinda heavy. Only worry abt the weight on my tank since I gonna mount on top of it instead of hanging.

No plans yet. If everything ok then might sell away. I haven't test my new lights due to no bulbs and adaptor at home. It's came in China plug type.

Reason is due to as mentioned. I can't hang my lights so I hv to look for a mounting stand type of t5 set. Not much cheaper if add in shipping charge but this look like a high end "China" brand. Hope I'm not wrong. Whole casing made of alu. Quality built not bad from visual inspection.

A little update on my tank, my tank ran into a big problem during one of my WC a few wks ago, my return pump, eheim 1260, was unable to start bk cos I think the impeller was broke inside and I couldn't open it due to thick calcium deposit around the pump cover. Had used it for 6yrs and didn't do much cleaning & maintenance on it. Luckily managed to loan an eheim 1264 from a nice reefer Frd.

So took this opportunity to chg my return pump to Fluval Sea SP2 aquarium sump pump rated at 3600l/h and also upsized my chiller to Hailea HS-66A from HS-28A.

I'm not really good at reviewing equipment. But imo this pump is quite quiet compared to others but lacking in power though. Eheim 1260 is even more powerful than this. Mind u, 1260 only rated at 2400l/h and this is a 3600l/h!! It's said to be energy saving and regarding maintenance, parts is quite easy to take out but will require a screwdriver.

Nothing much to update on my tank, haven't gotten any new sps as I having massive bubble algae & other hair algae problem. Most likely due to overdosing some of my traces. Also had a few sps not doing well cos new co2 cylinder ran out of gas (new cylinder only 1/4 filled I think) after 2 mths usage. This caused a fluctuation on my kh, some sps Stn as a result and some I think is due to my overdosing of zeospurs2.

I bought a ghost spider crab last wk to tackle my bubble algae as recommended by Henry of ML. Juz monitoring at the moment.

About the Yellowbreasted wrasse. Any aggression towards others?

So far no, only my big splendid leopard wrasse is aggressive towards it. So most of the time it's hiding but now it's coming out more often to look to food & pecks on the rocks. Shall wait & see how.

Finally managed to fix up my light today. Boy, it's heavy!!
