I's been a week and I'm really pleased with the work rate of this baby. However, I've adjusted the water level to the minimum and I still get wet skimate.

The recommended water level is between 120 to 240mm but my sump water level is appox~300mm. I tried elevating it but the water level inside the cylinder becomes extremely low. So decided to just leave it as it is right now.

The blue mille, I cut out the base rock it is attached to and glued it to my structural LR. Also accidentally broke one of its tip,

now the base looks a bit ugly. Hope it can recover and encrust itself to the rock.

The blue millepora you bought from GO is a beauty. Milleporas are relatively fast growers as far as acroporas go if your parameters are spot on.

The blue variety needs a bit more light compared to the green and yellow ones (they prefer lighting with a bluer spectrum e.g. 20kk) and naturally, good random flow is necessary.

Ur skimmer water looks ok to me.. See mine.. 3 days n u see this.

I dunno if juz based on skimmate. But I still unable to lower my nitrate level, still above 5ppm.

Maybe u can check if u got any dead spot in tank.. Or get a wavebox.. See if can help..

At worst u tied a plastic strip to a small rock to check any dead spot in water.

Hmmm... Dun quite get what u mean, how does that help to check for dead spot? The only dead spot I can find is perhaps in the middle between the 2 structural rocks but I can't place any wavemaker there.

If you can find alot debris or waste there.. That is the dead spot. If area too big, mayb the cause to ur problem.
