My refugium tank, now covered by a lot of bubbles and some red slime. My chaeto has grown quite a fair bit.

My refrigium also got red slime on the wall. But my cheato don't seems to grow. So worried that I am now switch off the lights to see whether the slime goes away.

How about you? Do you have any solution or just leave it there on the wall?

I dunno if I'm doing the right thing but I juz added my last remaining dose of ultralife RSR. Still monitoring the progress. If your chaeto is not growing or growing at a slower pace, most likely is the light not strong enough. U can also try switching off your fuge light for a week to try see if there's improvement.

Thanks bro, I am using 15w 6500k white lights. Think it shouldn't be light issue.

My fug have miracle mud and agronite sand, but such result. Quite Sianz.

Try siphoning all the red slime out then off your lights for a week, see if there is any improvement. I tried it before the red slime subsided for awhile before resurfaced again. Maybe should off lights for longer periods.

Thks, so far no more red slime in my refugium but if it's ever resurface again, I try to look for the product u recommend.

Purple Tang died this morning, think it lack nutrition cos my tank dun have a lot of algae for it to graze. Pellets alone not enough.

First few days in my tank was ok. Then out of sudden, the tube worm dun come out during lights on and only come out when lights off.

I have reposition it, suspected my flameback is nipping at it.

See if the porites is doing well or not. The outer sps polyps dies or rock not doing well. The coco worms dies.
