My acan seem to have recover fully from bleaching effects and some rotting tissue at the bottom of some of its heads.

Hopefully it can stay that way.

My last RBTA has and the black ice pair just refused to host them after released them to my DT. So I finally got another piece of pink RBTA last week which is even nicer than the last one.

1st day in my tank,

I've positioned it on the edge of one of my bigger supporting LR.

Second day onwards it shifted on its own a little inwards to hid between a hollow point between the rocks. It has stayed there ever since and has been there for 4 days.

My purple tang was initially shy but now has come out in the open to roam more.

Changed my refugium lights to Lumenaqua Mini45. Much brighter than before, I hope my chaeto will grow from now onwards...

Not really ready yet as of now, lighting still not strong enuff. Planning to add a 2x39w or 4x39w T5HO light set to my two Lumenaqua Max300 LED sets.

Do u think adding 4 more T5 tubes to supplement my LED, will it be an overkill or juz nice for keeping sps? Thinking of going for a mixed reef concept. 30% sps, 60% LPS and maybe 10% softies.

4 x T5 tubes should be good enuff to supp LEDs.

U juz need to manage your nutrients level and parameters in check esp for SPS.

Ok, thanks. I think I should get a 4x39w, put in 2 tubes, see the results first and if its not enough, I can still add on another 1 or 2 tubes.

But am a little concerned for you for loading so much stress on a single 13A wall socket. Especially chiller, which will suck up so much power when it kicks in.

My chiller power doesn't go there. It connected to a wall plug on top but the chiller pump goes to one of the point in the electrical box.

Keeping my finger crossed that it will not trip.

So far so good.

very neat and tidy idea! but as mentioned please be careful of heat issue inside the box.

oh ya, not to forget the super sun, I find it difficult to make them extend like that...

Ya, I am also concerned so will try to connect all the low wattage equipment to the box and the high power ones to the wall plug.

Will monitor the situation when connecting all the power points to the box. I am also worried about the heat dissipation problem once the box is closed especially my LED power adaptor seem to heated up when powered on. Anyone have any better suggestion?

For the super sun, u need to feed it once in a while to enhance its appetite so that its tentacles will extend more often to search for food.

Bro, did you buy the supersun from reefer or from LFS? Was hoping the ones from reefer are already 'trained' to open up many hours

I got it from Jireh Marine and it was a healthy specimen to begin with. So far think there's some baby heads growing and only one head died but luckily it did not spread.
