Try Before You Buy

Hey everyone,

Following my previous post on leasing out my currently idle Nanocustoms Unibody + T5 lighting system (here ), I really wanted to know what you Bros and Sistas think about short (or even longer term) equipment rentals.

I'm doing this out of personal interest, as well as part of my SOM course work in the U.S. No obligations to reply, but know that I'd be really grateful to you if you take just 3 minutes to give your opinion.

Hmmm this sound like a great ideas, but if after 3 mth, if one decided to buy the equipment do they get a new set or the set they are using?

How about light set like T5 which require tube changing every 6-9 mth, do one return the set to get the tube exchange free since rental is being paid?

Finally how fast can one get a replacement if the equipment fail? Thanks. =)

Thanks for your interest and Gong Xi Fa Cai!

To minimize disturbance to the tank inhabitants, the equipment will remain the same but minus the paid rental PLUS a 9% discount on the original price.

As to your question on lights, yes the bulbs will be replaced for free - if it's a long term rental, but if it's only for a try-before-you-buy, then it will be short term and no replacement is necessary. Damaged equipment replacement would be same day (evening) if reported before 12pm and next day morning if reported in the afternoon after 12pm.
