When is the time to change T5 ballast?

i have being running my T5 for 2yrs already.

was just wondering, since i change my tube every 6months,

how about the ballast? do i need to change them, will a 2yr old ballast cause the tube to under-perform??

Hmmm most of the time people only change the bulb, for ballast, they will only change when it break down.

2yr old ballast should not under-perform, what is important should be the bulb life, people do change their bulb ranging from every 6-9mth for SPS keeper.
