SRC Member solasido Posted January 16, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted January 16, 2012 Another way, buy DI resin and activated carbon, put in a clean HOB filter and run it overnight. It may be more cost effective than keep buying water.

SRC Member kaykay Posted May 30, 2012 SRC Member Share Posted May 30, 2012 Pls take note that you should only top up with distilled water. Saltwater, pre-mixed or NSW, is for water change only. As only water is evaporated, the salt content gets left behind. So if you keep topping up with saltwater, your tank gets more and more salty.
