Skimmer problem

Hi all

Does anyone know why skimmer won't stop skimming until the whole collector full of bubble ?

I been running the tank for few month and everything is fine but after yesterday I has water changed

The skimmer turn won't stop. I checked everything including the water parameter all work fine

Only yesterday I add some strontium, magnesium addictive not meet the instruction level stated on

the bottle as in my salt already had those element but not high enough.

Any guy know what thing happen here please help my skimmer still running even the water level is lower than before.

What skimmer brand / model are you using ? Most of the skimmer will come with a water and Air level adjustment which allow you to tune it . If not, try stopping you skimmer for few hour and run it again.

I'm using reef octopus rops3000 the valve I opened up all

Try monitor for a few day and see, it should resume back to normal after the skimmer skim out all the nutrients..

It skimmed clear water out not those gunk

Adjust the valve so that the water level just below the neck of the skimmer before it enters the collection cup.
