question on salifert kh test kit

My current test kit, that's expiring in 2014, uses 2 drops of kh-ind.

Where as the new one, expiring 2016, uses 4 drops, according to the instructions..

Problem is while I expect both results to be the same, they are not.

Old one reads 9.3, new one is 10.5

does anyone knows why? And more importantly, which instruction is correct?

I believed 2 drops are for lower range whereas 4 drops is for normal range. Cos I've been using sAlifest kh for the since may last year and it's always 4 drops.

You might want to check the instructions again.

mine is also same expiry batch as wilson's leh. The paper instructions really says 2 drops. For low resolution either 1 drop nia or test water is 2ml instead of 4ml.

Read a few times never see a no. 4 word except for the test water nia.
