Irritating algae

Hi everyone, there seems to be some algae in my tank that keeps coming back. Can anyone help me?

Algae will always come back. some are hard to remove, some are ok. Do keep your nutrients down, PO4 n NO3 down too

Thks bro. I kept the readings down however it just keeps coming back. There's red algae, hair algae growing all over. Just thinking if any fish could keep it under control.

My tank seems to reflect greenish hue when i turn on the (white/ultra violet) lights. Without the lights, i do not see any green algae?

Wondering where does the green hue come from?

What test kit you use for taking both reading?

Do you use DI water or tap water for top up?

Is your TDS reading for your top up water near zero?

I find zeovit coral snow is effective in battling red slime and it does kill not kill beneficial bacteria. Do the following:

1. Weekly water change with DI water

2. dose bacteria

3. Get some cleaners to maintain the tank such as astraea snails, urchin and yellow tang
