Can anyone enlighten me how ? Coz my parent just bought the wrong type of fish

Can i just add salt into a empty tank then then put the saltwater fish inside ?And how much salt needed for a 50+ litter tank ?then after a few week then i put live rock & sand in the tank ? Can i feed them frozen bloodworm n normal flake fish food ?

Best is bring back as even if do salt mix, yr tank is not cycled.

Please don't add that salt, it's very different.

Keep the fish in that bag of water it came in and aerate it with a air pump, it will have a higher chance of survival, return it first thing in the morning.

Think you better tell the reefers where you live, and we try to see if anyone stays nearby, let you put the fish in our tanks temporarily if possible.....

i parent bought the fish from a saltwater tank but i do some online research it say freshwater fish Electric Yellow Cichlid (Labidochromis caeruleus) ...

grab some old wool, coral chips & 5l of tank water from him

i use this during my cycle period but different brand and have great result with it .........

can u take a pic of the fish so we can help u id if really a saltwater fish. From the pic is a freshwater fish, just need high PH and freshwater will do.
