Where can I get a peacock mantis shrimp?

What water does it live in fresh or salt water ?

Can anyone tell me the tank set up for these creatures ?

I kept two and it need salt water. set up would be a thick glass or thick acrylic tank, Deep sandbed and liverocks.

however, its advisable to read up on the creature u r intending to keep. there are few species of mantis shrimp.

if u r looking for a peacock mantis, its will be a "smasher" and thus it will be happy to get food like crabs or small snails .

if u r looking for a green mantis and/or zebra mantis, they are consider as "spearer" and thus like meaty food without hard shell.

once again, do read up first. oh ya, i got it from CF last time. Think i saw one or two mantis shrimp lately but not peacock.

Any places that sells mantis shrimp in the east?? So fresh water can't ??

a simple 5 seconds on google will tell you that mantis shrimps dwell in the sea, hence salt water NOT fresh water.

you'll be much better off reading up on the many helpful sources at your fingertips rather then jump in straight for a shrimp which would most likely not be properly cared for.
