Hi Guys,

Just recently setup my 6 footer and few linked tanks in my studying room, here is the current pic. Since after that I often can see reefer one after another decommission from their big monster, so it's abit scaring to see mine up actually, hope this monster will last me long...

I am sure you are one of the hardcore reefer, and pretty sure you will be in for a long time

Come over sometime and will pass you some basic color sticks to test out your tank condition :friends:

Treat others the way you wanna be treated...

Thanks bro, yes, not a good start wif sps, half gone, bal. put back to my frag tank already. I think bcos of 6ft's lighting not suitable... flow still needs to adjust due to some dead spots... :)

Long time never update my tank... Well, adjusted quite number of things, like additional LED bulbs to support SPS, cleared some big fishes, red/borwn/green algaes treatment... Recently out off itch hand to put in a leopard blenny almost made me mad, now at least back to normal, Corals n SPS started recovering. Anyway, still need a long journey to reach a successful mixed reef with LED lighting. Here is the recent pic took from my iphone under full lights on.

My next step will be targeting for a constant Ca, Mg, KH dosing, of course, my No3 n Po4 still need to be lower down.

Fishes? yes, only 7 small fishes...

This is my uncompleted shallowed tank, size is 2.5ft x 2.5 x 1.5H, maybe will allocate some space for frags...

What is your water level to tank height? I guess there is a 2 inch at least? Supporting your led on pipes ?

u need to play around with the clearance between water height and the light clearance based on your level of sight for photos without light reflection, then again the overflow part may have issue.

Time to start a new thrend...

The water lvl could hv gone higher in my opinion, maybe u hav factor in jumping fishes to keep the water level lower?

Water level is under ctrl as my return has design in a safe-guarded water input. No fish inside even. :) added to this I hv another shallow tank on top of it... Yes, crazy! No plan wat to keep also, now just keeping water...
