hi guys..

need some help on solving this algae outbreak in my tank!

tks

its quite hard to pluck of off the rocks and my rocks cannot be taken out to wash..

Hi,

I keep one of those short-spined sea urchins n it really strip the coral-based rocks to the core but doesn't harm the mushies or the live corals. On the other hand my

foxface lo does his part to earn the right to live in my tank.

Brushing or pulling off the algae will help them to spread faster (my opinion ).

Reefing should be enjoyable,

Finbir.

Hi bro, save your corals first.

I had this problem when I first started, you can try what I did.

Buy a plastic tub, link it to your sump and grow algae in it. Slowly the algae in the main tank should die off.

You should try bio pellets too!
