Order aquatronica online

Hi bros,

I try to search for a cheaper aquatronica online at US online store, indeed very much cheaper than in Singapore based on the current US currency exchange rate.

The problem is they only carry the 110v version although the controller is also 230v compatible. Meaning that they only comes with 110v power unit. The rest I think are the same.

I was thinking of buying the controller and the interface and probes, and get the power unit locally. Do you guys think this might work?

can email them or search for europe websites. Europe using 230v like us.

Yes bro, found that site, but they dun carry aquatronica. But found red dragon pump really cheap. If we order we will have 17% off because of the Germany tax.

Wonder whether it is cheaper buy from there (via sewatec to hotel), with the 19% VAT or ship to SG (minus 19% VAT but includes 7% GST)....

Just wonder how much saving you benefit after deducted off the shipping, GST..etc?

If less than 20%, imho, not really worth doing it.. as you have consider the support service and warranty issue coverage .

If buy in germany yourself , can reclaim the tax from airport, and hand carry back then no need to pay gst.

If I'm not wrong… regardless of whether the goods were purchased overseas online or hand carry in to Singapore with the amount above 400 still need to pay 7% GST be it for personal or commercial use leh !
