ah ha.. in the first place, where do you find them? ..

I doubt you would consider about the price if you find it in LFS... .. I know I wouldn't...

rare? I didn't know cowries were rare. I consider them pests.

I bought one from reborn and he has been knocking stuff down.

They are also not reef safe FYI.

They are cheap only about $4 each from Reborn. But I don't know if its the same cowrie we are talking about.

same kind but different shell.. much nicer..

Not reef safe? Probably clumsy.. hehe.. it feeds on algae and also sponges..

they are rarely being sold in pet stores, that's why i consider them rare.

$4 each would be really dirt cheap. I think Tiger cowries have a better lookin shells. but i wonder how much they cost?

I think they are really not that expensive. I got one that is the size of my clenched fist for $8. It has a nice polished shell with light brown background and black spots.
