Hey guys,

Been working with these: Pseudochromis sankeyi/fridmani hybrid dottybacks

Breeders are

Male : Pseudochromis sankeyi (Striped dottyback)

Female : Pseudochromis fridmani (Orchid dottyback)

Settlement numbers are small as I had less than 20 fish larve to work with.

(there should be a few more still awaiting metamorphosis)

Note : No fishes were harmed in the process of this video production.

Will be backcrossing the above hybrid with the male sankeyi, hoping to reduce the traits of the orchid but that is provided the male sankeyi's still alive when they are sexually mature.

It will be pretty cool if this is what you will be getting.

It will most probably look like that, maybe with some showing more obvious traits of either parents.

Ah.. that's the creation of SRC's very own resident master breeder, Mr Fuel.

Think its either a sankeyi/fridmani x sankeyi/fridmani offspring or a fridmani x sankeyi/fridmani offspring.

The ones that I'm holding onto are Pseudochromis sankeyi/fridmani F1 hybrids.

Some incline towards the orchid colouration with more purple and some more to the stripe with very obvious black striping and bluish grey colouration.

Will definitely be pairin them around and see what I will be getting as results.

After lookin at e fish for 2 time, i dare to say tat tis is a new hybrid morph.

Its totaly diff from indigo or from bro fuel hybrid last time.

It look white when c from e side, but if view from e top, u can c its shimering blue... Nice fish... 
