Silicone can't glue rocks .. Btw how big the rocks you are talking about ..

You can use form

Nylon screw thread rod with nylon nuts

Epoxy etc

I am using limestone rocks for my freshwater set up. Each rock weights about 3kg. Will Epoxy work for that?

I have the BSI Cyanoacrylate IC-Gel used for coral frags. Do you think it can hold the rocks when considerable amount is applied?

Bsi gel needs a large surface to hold proper, same for any glue in fact...:) epoxy putty is good provided when its fully cure and hard but u need more to hold stronger...:) are u doing a rock work that cant stand without glue?

Fresh fishes and inverts! What's next? To the salty side of marine of course!:)

The rock scape can stand without glue. However, each rock weighs 3 kg. I am afraid that the rock structure may accidentally fall due to whatever reasons, leading to unthinkable consequences....

I just bought the epoxy putty. Its the one with red coraline colour. It comes in 2 tubes (1 white and 1 red) where you have to mix both together. But my rock scape is for freshwater so i dun wan the red coraline colour. I applied only the white putty to the rocks, hoping that it will work...
