heard purple sps not easy..

Referring to your picture, it is a very beautiful specimen

It depends on which species of purple. I have an a.valida purple frag that has grown quite a bit over a month's time although the colour has taken on a lighter shade (too much light? too little food?) - in fact, faster than my digitatas or staghorn which are supposed to be easier SPS corals for growth and colouration.

Yes you are probably right on the lighting, this specimen does not need too much light, MH still the best i think.

Too bad, mine has been frag too many times to spare you one for now :chair:

haha it's okay, for now I am just curious to know what its requirements are for lighting and water flow parameters.
