Better Protein Skimmer for a 1 feet tank?

Anybody can recommend me a better protein skimmer for a 1 feet tank? I currently using those $8 China brand kind skimmer for my tank and found that its the smallest in the market.

Of course there is the Sander one which I think it looks and probably works the same way. So no point changing to that one.

Anything else? or do I need to stick to that crappy skimmer.

but isit big? Its for my 1 feet tank.. most skimmers are much bigger than my tank.. if I use those, people would start looking for fishes in my skimmer instead...

be careful if anything died anything esp corals

it will cause ammonia spike

1 footer ? IMO, u don't need a skimmer. do more regular water change, say weekly... maybe 20-30%.

dun worry.. my tank is safe.. Ammonia in my tank is always 0.. only got one jewel coral.. planning to get one more small coral... still can't decide what is suitable.

I feed 2-3 live guppies at a time and never experience any ammonia raise when they die.

I still think with skimmer would be better. With my crappy skimmer, I dun change my water weekly. Just daily topup water only. Probably will change 30% water every month.

I saw this. Tot it was good but how is it gonna hang on my 28cm height tank? ... hehe... unless it can stand on its own and still work. Its not water level sensitive right?
