The hermaphroditic cleaner shrimp Lysmata amboinensis usually live in monogamous pairs, but dark passions underlie their social structure. New research shows that cleaner shrimp, in any group larger than two, viciously attack and kill each other until only a single pair remains.

This type of shrimp always kah jiao n snatch away food frm corals. Fire shrimp better. Normally fire shrimp always hide, but mine always are seen moving around but never snatch food frm corals. Guess they also like humans, some shy, some gd n some bad.

Only problem is they losing their bright red to dark red. Wonders y....

Guess it's up to the individual fire shrimp. Cos my fire shrimp alway snatch food from corals, fishes and whoever that have food. They even try to clean my hand when I was doing maintenance.
