Filtration sequence

All everyone, wanna know what is the correct filtration sequence in the sump.

i planning to have the following sequence.

filter sock --> biohome --> coral chip --> Ceramic Rings --> refugium for cheato or algae scrubber --> skimmer --> reactor --> return pump

is this sequence ok?

Just remember this general idea - Mechanical --> Biological --> Chemical.

I'll go for this...

filter sock --> biohome --> FR for phosphate removal and FR for biopellets --> Skimmer --> refugium --> return pump

decommissioned 2.5x2x2

I agree with this sequence. Then it should be:

filter sock -> skimmer -> biohome* -> refugium for cheato or algae scrubber -> reactor -> return pump

* I think coral chips & ceramic rings are redundant if you have sufficient biohome.

Previous is Filter wool - Biohome - Skimmer - FR for phosphate removal and FR for biopellets - Return pump

What other type of media is good beside biohome? Can put charcoal?

Bio home is for culitivating bacterial.

Charcoal is for removing smell and clarify the water.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
