What's the survival rate ?

Think sps tank, flow is strong. Pipefish not strong to tahan flow. Maybe it just swim at areas where lower flow.

Also depends individual fish character is those garang type.

This is another fascinating group of fish that I tried keeping with seahorses without success in the past. I am wondering if there are any bros here who successfully kept schools of pipefishes and can share their experiences of their requirements? Thanks.

Can also feed on crushed pellets. I kept in separate nano tank.fe3268588695399f4c1986f207f535c6.jpg34963760aee19cf4df2c6f5e19b8171a.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bro, I had a separate pico tank for my seahorses and pipefishes too but they all didn't make it. So now this pico is stocked with fishes although I'm still keen to try both seahorses and pipefishes again if I know the sustainable way of keeping them alive and happy.

Yes, they are mangroves. The tank water is from the main display tank thru siphon and gravity back to main sump tank. Of course, have to ensure safety such that will not flood the sump tank or overflow to happen.

I am currently keeping 2 pipefish (zebra banded and green) together with mandarins and I feed them with mysis shrimps and live copepods.

Pipefish prefer water with lower temperature and slower water flow. Better to put macroalgae on/overhanging liverocks to simulate their natural habitat. May get another type of pipefish (yellow multibanded) if I happen to find one.

Such Pipe Fishes can fend themselves against Angelfish ?

Better not to put tgt with Angels as they are really slow eaters and swimmers..the Angels will definitely finish up their food and may bully them as well...

Take note that they are slow and weak swimmers. Cannot have strong current.
