Do you need chiller for a simple 2 ft tank?

I intend to have a small 2ft x 1.5 x1.5 tank

Keeping some mushroom and some hardy LPS.

Can we do it without any chiller?

if the water temperature can be maintain below 30 degree , it should be ok. However in the long run, it is advisable to run with a chiller .

Most Fish, mushrooms, and other hardy soft corals, okay with no chiller. Most lps and sps and even some delicate softcorals will require chiller.

Yes, it is always good to have a chiller with corals!

Don't think we can get away from the chiller if you want to keep corals healthy .... Especially when our weather is so hot. Fans can only bring down the temp by 1~1.5 degree of the abient temperate. Not forgetting we add that temperature back into the tank with all the lights and pumps that we put in the tank...
