hi,just bought my tank after three months of saving, researching, and waiting for my PSLE to end from the pasar malam(very cheap and only 8 months old! )pictures will post later, so stay tuned!

What is ur tank size?

it is a 1.5ft cube tank, around 25g.for filtration i use jireh quick start system. skimmer is red sea prizm skimmer while lights is t5 lights

Hmmm 25g is roughly +/- 100litres. So depending on what u wanna go like fowlr, mixed/lps/sps reef. Hmm if sps then Ls like fishes must be low to maintain nutrients. In all, my own suggestions is to plan on what u wanna get then list here so those experienced can give advice. 1.5 ft try not to get big fishes. That's all i can suggest for now...

Hmmm shld be ok just rmb not to overstock as in keep it to a few similar sized fishes...

my skimmer dosen't seem to be working well. the waste produced does not look black(it is supposed to be black, right?) also, there is always condensation on my tank but i am not using chiller or fan. is it normal?can experts advise?

If u just started then its normal... No waste to skim either and skimmers need a period of break in... colour of skimmate also depends on ammount of disolved waste too...

Doesnt matter if its 2nd or even more hands as long as its working well and not cause problems like noises and such when its not supposed too...

Hmmm try imageshack, upload the pic, cut and paste the embed link on where u want... google for the website. Alternatively, u can use photobucket too...

or simply cut & paste with paint brush and save as jpg can liao ma ... then attach
