That's a very huge tank & tangs!!! Pardon the pun.

In better times, there were bigger tangs.

The AT is one fish that I've not had any success with whatsoever.

By the way, can anyone tell me where I can get Berghia Nudibranchs? My tank (and corals) is being overrun by aiptasia.

If anyone has aiptasia-eating peppermints, please let me know too.

Getting a seagrass filefish will be a better bet in busting ur aiptasia problems.

Cheers.

How much does one cost?

To avoid unnecessary mishaps with my other fleshy corals, maybe I'll keep this filefish in a separate tank and put the rocks that have aiptasia it. Once it's cleaned out the aiptasia, I'll pump the "clean" rock back in the main tank....

I am not sure the cost but I think it's not a expensive fish.

I don't know about filefish. But I do know that if you have a Aptisia eating Copperband, many of the Aptisia would go into hiding.

Once the Copperband is removed, the pests would appear again.

In short, you have to keep the Copperband in the tank.

I think the same applies to filefish.

The Aptisia would hide deep in the cracks that the fishes can't reach.

That's my personal experience.

No problem.

The aiptasia is really annoying me. It's covering all the rocks and killing of corals which it's in contact with, like my blastos, zoas, etc,

I got a copperband which then ate all my tube worms but left the aiptasia alone. The copperband subsequently died.

I've tried squirting Joe's juice but then the aiptasia which I thought had disintegrated suddenly reappeared again.

Hehehe;

Sorry, bro;

I need that Filefish to be in my tank to ward off the evil Aiptasia.

Before that; my tank was swarm with Lord Aiptasia ....... preventing my fish to swim and sleep properly;

Covering my corals .... etc ... etc.

Now ... I can only see one or two aip in those hard to reach places.

By the way; note that I also threw in 4 berghia nudi from Iwarna.

But of course, I do not know where are they now.

Just go to any LFS to get one filefish.

I got mine from Henry.

Cheers!

(-_-) Happy will do ... (o_o)

Bro, I use tap water to top up too;

It is ok for both fish and corals; but my algae grow bolder;

So I think should reduce the phosphate with biopellets or phosphate buster if possible.

Cheers!

So the aiptasia war has gone the way of the aiptasia so far. File fish dead, aiptasia still thriving.

I wanted to post a WTB in the pasar malam but for some reason I cannot start a new topic. Can someone tell me why? Looking for aiptasia eating CBs or file fish...
