Should be. Many time when Salifert read zero . A double check with the Red Sea read more then 10 ppm.

Yesterday do a TDS on my DI water. Shock the reading is 194.

Do a resin change immediately. Measure again last nite.

Reading now is zero.

Look like this is one of the contributor to my tank algae for the last 2 months.

Hope the damage is resolve with the resin change

Do partial water change and throw away all the chemical mix.

Do new chemical mix with DI water of TDS reading zero.

Hope this will eliminate the algae grow over the next few weeks
