Hi Bro, fish and seaweed from same shop doesn't mean they are from same part of the ocean. Even if they are, it doesn't mean the fish will eat everything in it's environment. Even fishes have their own preferences, they may prefer other types of seaweed. if your fishes are newly bought, you can try to induce feeding using fresh seaweeds like red bamboo.

Hi, Which food they accept now? Try serve them together by "popiah/sushi" with Seaweed... Shld be find... convict tang accept most algae.. But normally they prefer Microalgae.

they are all very greedy for pellet food....especially my brown tang and bi colour angel fish.....well i am just gonna hang the seaweed there and hopefully they will want to eat it...where do i get algae food and the other kind of seaweed?

U can consider DIY yr own simple blend fishfood...

mix algae sources foods like spirulina & green, brown, red seaweed together... Is good enough...

wow looks interesting. i am just afraid to pollute my tank. i probably need to find places to get the seaweed though.

Most fish farms sells macroalgae. I've seen the most varieties @ CF. Tangs usually love red bamboo. A lot of pellets and flakes made for marine also have algae as ingredients. Frozen preparations also have. Check out Marinelife's sub-forum. Henry's Gourmet have a pretty good following. My difficult to feed fishes have usually been coaxed to feed with this product.\

Ocean nutrition carries green, red and brown nori - http://www.oceannutr...om/?page_id=88. Some of my fishes prefer one over the other. This is why I suggest you to try other seaweeds previously. Fishes will have their own preferences.

CFoh's homemade preparation is surely made with TLC. But you can still get ready-products for herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore fishes.

Change the seaweeds you clip everyday else they will pollute your tank.
