Hi there, i have a smaller nano that i have not run for a few mth now. I removed the livestock about a few mth ago but left the liverocks and water in. So with the pump switched off, lights switched off, is the water still safe for putting in livestock immediately?

Your new LS would probably cost more than those few gallons of stale salt water. Why risk it? Just start afresh.

Hmmm thats true. Ah well. ): haha oh but anw if i buy some live sand or get some live rock from my stable tank and put into my nano, would the cycling process in my nano be faster? :D

Yes, it does help, especially if you dose bacteria to help kick start the nitrogen cycle.
