Just came across the cons of using

1. The cells wall of algae tend to leak,

this system often suffer from a buildup

of gelbstoff that can tint the aquarium

water a bit dingy yellow

2. Carbon filtration can remove most of this

Material but Also remove beneficial compound.

3. It can caused wide swings in PH as the algae

Utilize dissolved carbon dioxide in water.

4. Another problem with this system is difficult

To identify; the growing algae obviously remove

micronutrients, some of which are needed by

the zooxanthellae innthe tissue of corals.

So.. I doubt I will ever use one.. Lol
