Bristle worms

Hi do anyone know how to control bristle worms. I having too much baby bristle worms in my tank now.

Any reef fishes can control them? Tks

Try coral band shrimp... also try some hawkfish and wrasses.. they may help sometime.. Cheers..

Tks. But do u think hawkfish n wrasses will eat tube worms? Coz I hv lots of them on my coral chips sandbed.

Nope, they don't consume tube worms.. coral chips sandbed not suit for some wrasses.. Cheers..

My opinion is they are helpful in clearing uneaten food and debris. If you want to rid of them due to aesthetic reasons, a coral banded shrimp will keep them at bay such that they cannot be seem while the shrimp is active.

they come out during lights out. so far i caught 4 of these, 3 brownish/green ones and one orange. that orangy one i caught was living inside the skeletal structure of my super sun, though i read that once they grow longer will change color. so far in observing, they seem to really be just scavengers. the above caught 4 are still in isolation, and so far time to time with some corals and LS, i've seen no harm yet. oh yeah, never touch them or handle by hand <_<
