Looks like Bryopsis. If it is , it's a baddie.

If its bryopsis, you're in for some trouble mate! Dont let it spread!

Its one algae I never want to experience again. No fish would want to eat them becos it tastes bad... (You can try your luck on the bi-colour blenny)

To remove it: Dont just pluck it out, it did the mistake of doing that which released it spores and instead spread to the whole tank. Use a tweezer to pluck it and siphon around it to suck all the bits of floating algae.

If too many until not able to trim by hand... Try aquafauna algaeX solution, quite good in handle bryopsis.. Mine gone in 2 weeks time, but used with precaution, do not overdose!!... Cheers..

Thanks for the info Bro..... I had tried and plug out the algae last week. And clean the the glass. There were many hairy algae floating around my tank so I tried to take out as many of them as i can but the next day it starts to grow back on my glass again. Last Saturday I put in 4 Tang fish, these Tang fishes are planned and is not meant to control the algae. Instead, they eat up and clean up my glass algae... very neat. Now my sand bed kana the algae liao.... hopefully can control.
