Hi Senoir Need advise on below: 1) Water start to get cloudy after installing bio pellet reactor ..3day start to get cloudy Will nitrate drop once water get clear. Can add livestocks or coral after nitrate drop? 2)Do we need to change water after water clear? 3) Will the livestocks able to ride thru the nitrate export transit period? Usually how long does it takes to get over the cloudy period? Tank profile: 3X2X2 with Sump (coral chip) 5 week old NO1, NO2 & PO4 zero NO3 50mg/l PH 8.08 salinity 1.024 Temp 29 to 30 degree Equipment Lights : 6 x T5 ( 3blue 3white) lights on at 2pm till 11pm JBL Protein skimmer Phos reactor Biopellet reactor Fan....Not using chiller Using Redsea salt mix to set up tank Top up with DI water regularly Dose MicroBacter7 daily Livestocks LiveRocks 1 X 1.5" Yellow Tang 1 X 1" Blue Tang 2 X 1.5" Clown 2 X 1" Skunk shrimp Above doing fine Coral 1 X 3" Crosea Clam 3 X Mushroom 3 X Zoas 1 X 3" leather Above doing fine Worried as Nitrate start to rise higher and higher. So decided the biopellet reactor install on Thurdsay and water turn cloudy Saturday Hairline and brown algae appearing on tank BTW, also set up a Algae scrubber 1 week ago and can see brown algae appearing on the flow mat.
