Dear reefers, Any idea what is this thing? I noticed it has been stuck to my starfish for the past 3 days. At first, I thought the starfish was eating it, then i thought this thing was eating my starfish. It looks like several ball-like appendages, with some orangey stuff inside....never seen this before in my tank. Any help to shed light on the situation, and whether this thing is dangerous to my fish or corals would be appreciated.

Hi reefers, I have a 5ft tank with fish, LPS and softies, with 4x80W ATI T5 tubes (2xwhite, 2xblue). Is it possible to have 2 lighted periods of 4 - 4.5 hours instead of a continuous lighted period of 8 - 9 hours? As it gets really hot in the day, I was thinking of lighting the tank in the mornings (7am - 11am) and evenings (6pm-10pm). This would also be convenient for me to feed the fishes before going to work in the mornings, and back from work at evenings. Any thoughts if this is detrimental to the corals?

Can't afford to change tank ler......both tanks 5ft and built in Sigh....guess resigned to it then

Dear reefers. Anyone got good lobang for Resun servicing? My chiller is not able to cool down the temp anymore, seems to be running 24 hours non-stop. Any advise appreciated, and if you could give me an idea how much the servicing would cost, that would be most helpful.
