  1. Hi All, Used to keep one of these. Have not seen it for sale for a while. Anyone knows who might have or where to buy? Am looking for a small specimen formy FOWLR tank. Thx.
  2. Sohal Tank successfully added to reef tank together with all the other tangs. Nothing much happened. Only a bit of chasing. CT died of starvation in the ATS tank. ABT now in LPS tank. Still looking for AT.....

  4. Hi!, Anyone seen any for sale somewhere lately? Thx!!
  5. Bros/Sis, I was so inspired by Iwarna's angels swimming in their sps display tank that I got meself an insanely beautiful 5-6" Caribbean Queen (from mouth to ends of dorsal filaments). It is now in my 4 ft but shallow ATS tank for QT. It eats pellets greedily 5 mins upon introduction. As I have a 9' SPS dominated tank, I am very tempted to place it there for the long term. However, the SPS tank also has some sponges, lobos, 1 trachy, sea squirts, cloves, duncan, rics, zoas, clams, rhodactis, favites, candycane, etc. The question is, will it cause real harm to the LPS if I introduce it say two weeks down the road after fattening it up on live, frozen, pellet, nori and flake foods? I heard that well fed fish normaly leave corals alone...how? I can also put it in my FOWLR tank but that tank is not so well lit and water not as pristine as my reef tank and I really want the best for the queen.... Any advice please? Worried.... Thanks!
  6. Hi bro, May I know what are the dimensions of your tank? Am planning to do something similar.... thanks. My ST is now in QT....

  8. Hmmm....maybe I'll still keep these tangs but in different tanks. Also have a 6' FOWLR tank....will keep the AT and ABT in this tank then....

  11. Tank is 9'(L) x 2'(W) x 1.5'(H) mostly sps. Wanna add these 2 more plus other 2 more. Also stocked with other reef safe fishes. Sump is about the same size. Thinking of heading down to LCK tomolo for the Atlantic Blue Tang.... Thanks for any tips that might help!
  12. Hi! Thanks for reply. How many Watts UV to get? Is it bad for the SPS and LPS in my tank? Where to get a good one?
  13. Hi bros and sis, Need some advise here....from the tang experts. I currently have a reef tank with purple tang, yellow tang, sailfin tang, blue tang and powder blue tang. They get along fine and are healthy, feeding, etc. I just got meself a clown tang and a sohal tang (agressive guys) each housed seperately in QT tanks. Idea is to get them to feed and acclimatise them properly before introducing them into my reef tank. Both are healthy but not feeding yet. Am trying flakes, nori, pellets, mysis. Once they are past this stage comes the worrying part. Intend to introduce them together into main tank. Qn is, will there be a battle royal since these fishes are well known for their temper especialy the sohal? Who will emerge the dominant tang? My PBT is the biggest but is quite tame and docile. If everything works out and they get along, I am also tempted to add an atlantic blue tang and the difficult achilles tang. Is this a tall order? Anyone tried and succeeded? I know it sounds crazy but I am still hopeful and wishing..... I have even prepared 4 small mirrors to stick on the glass to dilute any potential agression, introduce at night, flood the tank with food.... Peace.

  24. Hi Guys, Anyone knows where to ge this Nudibranch? It is good for aiptasia control. Aquafauna? "Berghia Verrucicornis Nudibranch Eating Aiptasia Anemone. Originally widely published in journals and reef trade articles as one species, history reveals that several different species have been combined as if they were all one species. The nudibranch that exclusively feeds on Aiptasia anemones received it's own distinct taxonomical record in 2005. As of that date, the common name for the aquarium industry will remain "Berghia" and the correct scientific name is Aeolidiella stephanieae for this species." Cheers!
