There are probably no visual identification means of differentiating a male from a female. They are born sexually immature, no defined gender. In most cases when a pair is formed, the female is the larger of the two.
Hope my PM had help you somehow
Beautiful carpet you have there, it is probably S. gigantea, much more demanding as compared to S. haddoni
Did you pick it up before Sunday afternoon as only a brownish-red carpet was left at that time
Bro, you just can't stop
The rocks look really good but I heard they release PO4 in time to come. You may need to hang some Phosphate absorber in the mini sump
Couldn't agree more that those turbo snails are a great benefit to any reef tank
When I bought over cured liverocks from a reefer who had algae all over the rocks, my 4 turbo snails practically cleared most of the algae in less than one week!
The rockspace looks good to me
I dislike having tanks that are "bended" from one piece of acrylic/glass as the "90 degree angle" joints will create distortion
Bro, can PM me how much did the Tonga rocks cost you?
That would probably be the second tank article/thread that I have read that has a Gem Tang.
My first article that I came across that had a Gem Tang belongs to Low Profile
