Something to share regarding the "FUNCTIONS" key on the controller. On the manual, I believe there's a mistake regarding the type of Function available on the controller. On the manual, it show options like "TIMER", "OFF", "MANUAL" & "KEY". However, on the controller itself, you will see "TIMER", "OFF", "SWITCH" & "HOLD". The following is just a general description of the available functions on the controller. OFF - To turn off all plugs on the power unit Timer - Allows you to set the amount of time that the program will be activated which the max should be 15 minutes (correct me if I'm wrong) SWITCH - Turn on or off the plugs that are selected until the key is pressed again (the key must be held for 3 seconds before the program is activated). HOLD - Activate the program if the key is pressed for more than 3 seconds, and will remain activate for as long as the key is pressed (useful for topping-up sumps or precision operations).

I will like to find out wht's the best way to do a water change. Eg. 1) Off all pumps, extract 10-20% water from main tank and top up directly 2) Off all pumps, extract 10-20% water from sump and top up directly 3) Have 2 pipe, 1 for extracting water while then 2nd pipe is for topping up with new salt water mix. I'm not sure if option 1 & 2 will cause certain shock especially temp diff since all pump need to be shut down? Will that have a great impact on corals especially SPS? Thks in adv!

Wht's the ideal MH hours? I notice there's lot's of green algae that's why I shorten the MH period from 6 to 5 hrs oni! My KH is ard 9dKH!

To be frank, I dun even know how millies, pocci, stylos and even staghorns looks like! As for the SPS I got, I think it's due to the lousy pic as I'm using my HP to capture the pics. There's still sign of green color at each tip of the SPS!
