refugium is 130cm cube.... with about slightly less than 1 feet of grade '1' sand..... an about another feet of water..... trying to get some 'sea grass'.... thats why i using 1 feet of sand.... need room for the roots to grow.... waiting for it come....

now the bottom cabinent is free to throw my barang!!!! heehee.... mum won't compain my stuff take up space in the store room...

a surface skimmer is totally different frma protein skimmer.... a protein skimmer skims the so called waste of the fishes out of the water.... whereas a surface skimmer skims the floating dirt/waste/detritus of the water...

juz dose kalk as subsitute to water topup.... you will find coralline growing like nobody's business.... or at least thats is what is happening in my tank....
