whats the difference between high flow rate and quick flow rate? isn't it the same? if you talking about speed of water vs volume of water... all i can say... volume is pretty much fixed as u can not adjust the size of your piping in the chiller mah......

obviously... u have not been doing enuff reading and research in the forums... take the time... go thru old threads... u will find tons of information..... juz cycle tank with LRs and sand (if u are not going for BB)... then after that... add corals first.... if you goign for reef..... after about 2 weeks at least (my personal opinion) put the fishes in.... just to share with you my plans... cycling with LRs, without lights.... about 3 months.... will stock tank with SPS... target period... 1year... at the same time... will also put in different shrimps thru out that year.... subsequently... very slow stocking of fish..... this is just a guideline.... my personal way of doing it....

cheaper fiji.... try paradiz reef?? i forgot already..... or u can go coral farm get.... big pieces.... all about same price one.... one or two dollar plus minus.... purple.... is just coralline algae.... something easy to boost when u add kalk and blast the blue lighting....

thats why serious hobbiest using RO/DI or DI water.... cuts down all this NO stuff.... one thing u gotta learn about all things beautiful.... there is no shortcut.... everything that is beautiful only is the result of hard work, determination and paitence.... not just reefing.... just cycle the tank... cycle it longer the better..... i am restarting my tank again now.... will be cycling till CNY next yr....

it doesn't matter if they are dead or alive... prob if u are very serious in the hobby.... u will nuke them further one when u got uncontrolable pest problems.... important thing must remember is... porus... scaping..... get good flat rocks... best is can find rocks that are big, flat and light.... becuz too porus... inside empty shell actually... SERIOUS!!! can find rocks like that one.... since u paying for weight... i think better wad this way...
