  1. the nassarius snails? i have those in my tank and they're just mere scavengers for uneaten food and decaying fish.. they don't attack my clams.. it will eat clams?
  2. well, after countless futile traps, i've decided to take the rock out to force it out.. hope it works! thanks guys!
  3. ^ becoz it has corals on it, and it occupies half my tank.. freshwater soaking it will kill my rock isn't it.. and still not sure the 'thing' will die ornot.. its super hardy..
  4. the trap i set isn't working, he's very clever.. darn.. the panty hose thing wont work i think, as he is very big.. his legs wont get stuck i believe..
  5. just curious, please post pics of croceas and maximas, becoz may i know what's the difference? size shouldn't be a diff right, all could start small..?
  6. really, been to iwarna so many times but havent seen anything like this? where do they place it?
  7. problem is, the rock u see in the pic, is ONE whole rock.. too big to take out.. i've set another new trap tonight, see how it works.. anyone knows where to get bristleworm trap? what it looks like?
  8. ^ yes it looks just like this, with longer segments, but 1 distinction is definitely the WHITE BAND segment behind the head.. my monster has that white band too.. yes it looks like a bobbit worm or a ragworm, sea centipede of some sort.. thanks.. i've tried hot water, tricking it into a bottle, hooking it with a bait, all to no avail.. ^ this is the live rock it's on, how to fresh dip it??
  9. where can i get a worm trap? i've tried trapping it various times, but to no avail..
  10. ^ it looks like this, except thrice its length.. sea centipede?
  11. currently facing a huge problem, i have this huge worm hiding inside my live rock.. its long, definitely longer than my finger.. its armored, like a centipede.. with segments.. it has many legs at the side.. it has a armored head like a termite.. it is NOT a bristle, nor a fireworm.. no pics of him online nor anywhere i seen b4.. worst, it has huge claw-like pincer teeth.. i've battled with him many times, and it'll drag all sorts of small stones into his hiding hole.. it'll try to pull my tweezers in when i tried to lure it out with food.. i cant get a pic of him as he's very fast and light sensitive.. help! he is a hazard and he bites anything that smells like meat.
  12. do u have any other pics? and how big are they?
  13. just interested, what's the difference?
  14. sent u a PM regardin the chiller..
  15. u can try buying 'moon' from the fish store.. its like very tiny bugs.. they usually sell it like 50cents a small packet.. live.. my clown goby used to eat those, together with the picky anthias.
  16. peaceful creatures, more likely to be harassed by aggressive fishes..
  17. ^ i saw 1x golden neon at AM jln kayu last night, and lots of clown gobies.. citron goby, i dun think so.. went to ah beng and iwarna this morning, iwarna has lots of anthias, clowns.. ah beng has firefishes, and the usual stuffs..
  18. nope, i think i'm losing this one.. looks exactly like the previous one from the same batch.. its gills are abit torny..
  19. yupp i find this batch of clowns weird too.. no other fishes bullying it.. all peaceful mates.. on closer inspection, i found its gills are sorta spiky? its not round, but looks zig-zaged.. gave it a freshwater bathe..
  20. help, just gotten an orange clown from Iwarna, but up to date (3-days) it still refuses to eat anything.. it looks healthy and is swimming around. i've tried formula1, formula2, frozen bloodworm, frozen mysis, and even live brine shrimp. blue tang, chromis, firefish are all eating fine. i've lost one previous one due to not eating as well..
