no problems one.. my clowns used to host mushrooms, zoas.. and now jewel corals.. my jewel is the healthiest, showing no signs of stress at all.. it depends on luck really.. weather the coral mind ornot..

hi all, selling away this 4 feet 4 tube fixture from Hopar, bought in Dec07 which means it is in use for 3months, tubes are as old as the set. selling due to upgrading project. comes with box and brand new stands, as have never used the stands at all, still in plastic. comes with 2 switches to control front2 and back2 tubes. condition is 9.5/10 no dents no faults, all working well. $100 collection is at woodlands, can view and test it out at my place before committing. brand new is $150 bought from AquaStar. interested party pls let me know..

i've never seen white mushrooms before.. i think they're bleached right?

sharp eyes kareen.. at first i thought they were flatworms.. but on closer inspection and trying to pick it off, realised it's just the pattern on the mushrooms.. it's actually bright blueish dots.. harmless, and all the polyps has a few of those dots.. it's not parasites nor diseases.. thanks for pointing that out kareen, initially they caught my eyes too..

mushrooms detaching from rocks could be due to too high flow, or insufficient lighting in my opinion.. from my experiences with them, they like to move around to find a optimum location.. if not, they just detach and float away in search of a better location.. just my opinion from my experiences, no hard facts as proof though..

Natures Ocean.. Petmart and Aquamarine sells them.. slightly less than a blue note for 1 packet (9kg).. it comes in normal brown white colour too..
