the 2 males are not working out.. one is constantly being subdued and chased.. this one has lost its bright red on its fins.. doesnt even flare anymore.. the other dominant one just keeps getting bigger, though its bright red on fins still there..

ooohh ya.. the flashing dorsal fin definitely makes the mark.. interesting wrasse.. on a side note, been trying to trap my 2 rubripinnis for nights.. still futile..

looks like close cousin of my rubripinnis.. with the exception of dorsal fin?

very interesting colours on ur 2 sps.. nonetheless still nice.. the 'greening' effect could be due to lightings.. it could work both way, good or bad, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.. in my old tank, some of the frags that i took from my dad's tank, turned out slightly more green as compared to those in his tank.. the only difference in our tanks are lightings, so i attribute that mainly to the spectrums that we're using.. on a side note, ALL THE BEST for your exams, good luck! must visit you after your exams.. exchange some pointers (maybe even frags) on sps, and admire your softies..

if you overlay the black sand on top, in time you'll get a mixture of black + white, looks greyish sand.. imo does not look nice, looks 'dirty'..

bro law, the purple valida is still with me and my dad, but most of it is browned out due to holding tank, if you are interested, i can offer you a frag of it.. new growths out will be purple, and its already showing signs of purpling in my dad's new tank..
